Mae Kemph, MD
Anna Truss Ostrom, M.D.
Dr. Ostrom joined the clinic in July 2010. She completed her undergraduate degree at The University of the South. She received her medical degree at the University of Alabama. She trained in pediatrics the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences/Arkansas Children's Hospital and also completed a chief residency year there as well.
She is board certified in pediatrics and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She is married to her husband, Brad and has one daughter and two sons.
Laura K. Sanders, MD
Dr. Sanders joined LRCC in Augut 2012. She has been in private pediatric practice since 1998. Dr. Sanders completed her medical degree from UAMS and residency at Arkansas Children's Hospital. She is board certified and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
She is married and has 3 daughters. She enjoys coaching girls softball league in her free time.
Jessica Emison, MD
Dr. Emison joined LRCC in July of 2014. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Central Arkansas in Conway, Arkansas, where she was a member of the Honors College. She received her medical degree at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and completed her residency at Arkansas Children's Hospital.
Dr.Emison enjoys hiking, kayaking, and canoeing. She likes to travel, read, scrapbook, and bake. She loves spending time with family and friends, and she is married and has one daughter.
Steven Thompson, M.D.
"From my first rotation on the pediatric ward in 1979, I was attracted to the honesty and unpretentiousness of children. I found pediatrics a perfect fit for my personality. Add to this the long, deep relationships you develop with families and you have a great job."
After receiving a degree in Spanish at the University of Arkansas, Dr. Thompson completed his medical training at the University of Arkansas in Little Rock. He completed his pediatric residency at Arkansas Children's Hospital in 1984. Dr. Thompson opened his own pediatric practice in Benton where he practiced until joining Little Rock Children's Clinic in 1989.
"Although I am a general pediatrician, I especially enjoy pediatric dermatology."
Dr. Thompson has been married to Julie, a native of Liverpool, England, for over 24 years and they have two children, Will and Sophie. Dr. Thompson enjoys fishing, reading, and travel but particularly enjoys flying as he is an instrument rated pilot. Dr. Thompson is fluent in Spanish and travels regularly to Latin American countries serving on medical missions.

R. Wayne Herbert, M.D.
Prior to joining LRCC in 1992, Dr. Herbert was a pediatrician at the Arkansas Clinic for Children and Young Adults in Little Rock. He earned his undergraduate degree from Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee. He received his medical degree from the University of Mississippi and completed his residency at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences followed by a Robert Woods Johnson Clinical Fellowship at Stanford University in Palo Alto, California and a Adolescent Medicine Fellowship at Southwestern Medical School, University of Texas Health Centers in Dallas, Texas.
He is a board certified pediatrician and a American Academy of Pediatrics Fellow. Dr. Herbert lives in Little Rock and has two children.
Johnny Ledbetter, M.D.
Dr. Ledbetter joined LRCC in 1999. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and earned his medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. He completed his pediatric residency at Arkansas Children's Hospital and has additional training in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology from the University of Virginia.
Dr. Ledbetter is board certified and a American Academy of Pediatrics Fellow. He served as chief of pediatrics at Baptist Medical Center 2011/12.
Dr. Ledbetter enjoys cheering for the Razorbacks and is an avid world traveler.
Leah Youngblood, M.D.
Dr. Youngblood joined LRCC in July, 2007. She earned her undergraduate degree from Hendrix College in Conway, Arkansas. During her time at Hendrix, she was a Lancaster University Exchange Student in Lancaster, England. She received her medical degree at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia and completed her residency at Arkansas Children's Hospital. After her residency, she completed one year as the Chief Resident of Pediatrics. Dr. Youngblood is board certified and a American Academy of Pediatrics Fellow.
Dr.Youngblood enjoys the outdoors - hiking, camping, and jogging. She likes to travel, see live theater and music.
She is married and has two daughters.
